DripMap operates the DripMap mobile app and website at dripmap.space. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account we collect your email address, username, and optional profile photo, stored securely in our database.

Location Data

With your permission, we collect GPS coordinates to show nearby coffee shops and power map features. You can revoke location access at any time in device Settings.

Photos and Videos

If you grant camera or microphone access, we collect photos and short video clips you choose to share. We do not access your camera without your explicit action.

Contacts

If you grant Contacts permission, we read your contacts only to help you find friends on DripMap. We do not store or sell your contacts.

Payment Information

DripClub memberships are processed by Apple via RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and personalize the DripMap experience
• Show coffee shops, check-ins, and community content near you
• Process DripClub memberships
• Send transactional emails and push notifications you have opted into
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information or serve third-party advertisements.

3. Third-Party Services

• Mapbox - maps and location search
• Supabase - database and authentication
• RevenueCat - iOS subscription management
• Apple - iOS payment processing
• Stripe - web platform payments
• Loops.so - transactional email

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. Deleting your account removes your personal information within 30 days, except where required by law.

5. Your Rights

• Access - request a copy of your personal data
• Correction - request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion - request deletion of your account and data
• Location - revoke in Settings at any time

California residents may exercise CCPA rights. Email privacy@dripmap.space.

6. Children's Privacy

DripMap is not directed to children under 13. Contact us to report any such data and we will delete it promptly.

7. Security

We use HTTPS encryption and row-level security in our database. No internet transmission is 100% secure.

8. Changes

Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
